Book Club

Book Club is on during Thursday lunchtimes.  All are welcome to come along for word games, book chat and challenges (and biscuits).

Grampian Children’s Book Award Club

This club is for pupils in S1-S3.  We shadow the short list for the Grampian Children’s Book Award.  We meet several times a term to chat about the books we are reading and pupils can take part in competitions. Click on this link to see more:

This club for pupils from S2 and above, shadows the short list for Scottish Book Trust’s Scot Teen Book Prize.

Reading Champions in S1 and S2

Five pupils from each year were successfully appointed Reading Champions.  They meet regularly to share ideas about promoting books and reading to their peers. 

Special Events Committees

Pupils form special committees to organise library events such as Halloween or Christmas parties in the Library.

Staff Book Group

A group of staff meet twice every term to discuss a book they’ve all read recently.
